Windows XP မွာ DNS Cache ဆုိတာပါပါတယ္။ မၾကာခဏ၀င္ၾကည့္တဲ့ website address ေတြကို သိမ္းဆည္းထားတာပါ။
သေဘာတရားက ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔က www.google.com ဆိုၿပီး ႐ိုက္ထည့္တယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ့ ေနာက္ကြယ္မွာ တကယ္တမ္းသြားေနတာက google.com ဆိုၿပီး မသြားဘူး။ IP address ေျပာင္းၿပီးမွ သြားတာပါ။ google ကိုဖြင့္လိုက္တဲ့အခါမွာ ကြန္ပ်ဴတာက GOOGLE ရဲ႕ IP address ဘယ္ေလာက္လဲဆိုၿပီး DNS Server ကိုလွမ္းေမးတယ္။ DNS Server က ျပန္ပို႔လိုက္တဲ့ IP Adrress ကိုရေတာ့မွ browser က အဲဒီ IP address အတိုင္းဖြင့္ေပးတာပါ။
Windows XP မွာ DNS Cache က ဘယ္လိုေကာင္းတာလဲဆိုေတာ့ အဲဒီလို DNS Server က ျပန္ေျဖေပးတဲ့ IP Address ေတြကို သိမ္းထားေပးတယ္။ ေနာက္တစ္ခါ ခင္ဗ်ားက GOOGLE ကို ဖြင့္တဲ့အခါမွာ GOOGLE ရဲ႕ IP ကဘယ္ေလာက္လဲ ဆိုၿပီး DNS Server ကိုလွမ္းမေမးေတာ့ဘူး။ DNS Cache ထဲမွာပဲ သြားၾကည့္လိုက္တယ္။ အဲဒီေတာ့ Website တက္တာ ပိုျမန္တာေပါ့။
ဒါျဖင့္ အဲဒီ DNS Cache ရဲ႕ အရြယ္အစားႀကီးေလ ပိုမ်ားမ်ားဆန္႔ေလမဟုတ္လား။ တိုးၾကည့္ရေအာင္။
၁။ HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dnscache\Parameters ကိုသြားပါ။
၂။ ေအာက္ပါ DWORD Value မ်ားကို Create လုပ္ပါ။
CacheHashTableBucketSize=1
CacheHashTableSize=180
MaxcacheEntryTtlLimit=ff00
MaxSOACacheEntryTtlLimit=12d
ၿပီးရင္ Restart လုပ္ပါ။
